Yayoi Kusama : The Obliteration Room

The Obliteration Room is an interactive installation by Yayoi Kusama who is famous for her use of spots across many mediums. The obliteration room is no different. Yayoi Kasama designed sheets of stickers for the participants (primarily children, and children at heart) so as they walk through the pure white room they can leave their mark in any way they please, any design, anywhere within the installation.

I think this is just amazing and it is something I feel is very inspiring. You can see the randomness of the children's mind, but also see the patterns. There are some areas with distinct color groups and patterns and others that are purely random, it shows the willingness to follow of some participants and the defiance of others.
