Konstantin Dimopoulos : Blue Trees

Blue is probably the rarest color in the plant world which is why these trees make you do a double take. It is in fact by design these tree trunks are blue. The ongoing installation by Konstantin Dimopoulos is designed to highlight the deforestation issue. Nearly 32 million acres of forest are clear cut each year. For those in/around Seattle keep an eye out for these trees, Konstantin will be in the area next week.
