Banksy did it again - He set up a street side station manned by an apathetic older gentleman and didn't advertise they were original Banksy pieces. Long story short, 4 people walked away with original signed Banksy pieces worth who knows how much (my guess would be close to $4,000 each though) for less than 100 bucks a piece. I think what will be interesting is the reaction to this on the street market world - will we see pop up art booths with fake Banksy pieces in an effort to capitalize in the frenzy that I am sure will come of this? I am willing to bet Yes, which could possibly devalue these pieces if the lineage isn't solid. All of the people who purchased were on this video.
